In 1915 the first nearly 200 volunteers arrived at the Lockstedter camp on 25 February. By 1917, their number had risen to just under 2000. This battalion was transferred to Vasa, Finland, on February 25, 1918, in order to successfully intervene in the civil war for the independence of Finland. EF-AU
